Drop The Soap! - Why You Need A Quality Face Cleanser

Drop the soap! - we mean it, soap bars should never be the weapon of choice when it comes to cleansing your face. In this blog, we will tell you why and the products you should use instead.

Why you need to drop the soap

Keeping your skin hydrated and fresh is key to keeping a healthy lifestyle. Using soap on your face does the opposite – it causes more negative than positive which can make you lose your confidence. This is what soap can do:

1. Irritates skin – Your face is some of the most fragile and thinnest skin on your body and using harsh chemicals will not help with acne, oily skin, or even dry skin which brings us to the next point.

2. Dry out skin – Getting on the scientific side of things, bars of soap tend to have a high pH, all you need to know is the higher the pH the easier it is for your skin to dry out.

3. Skin conditions worsen – If the last two points weren’t enough, if you are already having trouble with your skin using a bar of soap will be a detriment to your preconceived skin conditions.

4. Leaves skin red, itchy, or blotchy – I don’t know about you but the last thing someone wants is red, blotchy, and itchy skin on their face since that is the main focus on everyone. You shouldn’t have to feel this way either, just as long as you don’t use a bar of soap to wash your face.
